Hey guys! I got a Lowe’s gift card for my recent birthday and was inserting which plants y’all would like me to get! It’s a $50 gift card so list your favorite plants that u think are there! Ty!

PS - I’m having trouble deciding since there are so many lol!😂

Hoya krimson queen or princess. Often they have beautiful baskets with large ones and they grow so beautiful!

Snake plant, ZZ, syngonium, pothos, spider plant, Purple Heart tradescantia, scindapus, philodendron, hoyas (except that single Hoya Kerri heart leaf in a pot that will never branch out)

Avoid Fiddle Leaf ficus (all ficus, really)😆, rubber plant, Dracaena, fern, palms and money tree until you are more experienced.

I can agree with all of the ones that you said to avoid. I’m a newbie and haven’t had luck with any that you listed! 🥴

I only own a very old ponytail palm and nothing else in my list of plants to avoid! Too much sorrow associated with those.

I got into plants about 2 years ago and I got my first plants from Lowe’s… lucky bamboo and snake plant. They are still thriving and beautiful. Very easy to take care of. 🙌🏼😄

Monteserra, Angel Wing, Peperomia, dwarf umbrella trees, baby bunny bellies, kangaroo paw have been my faves to take care of so far :)

I also recommend avoiding ferns, they're temperamental bastards

I also avoid peace lilies and monsteras as I can’t seem to keep them alive! 😅
