It could be a couple of things. Overwatering can cause the leaves to turn partially black and dry out. Temperature extremes gives similar symptoms, but, the entire plant would be affected. Damaged roots from repotting or pests is another possibility. Check if the damaged leaves are isolated to one vine which is an indicator of root issues.

It looks like there are black spots on several different vines not just one vine. Thank you so much for your help! The temp is pretty stable in this room and I’ve already decided that I’m going to water it less often!

Probably overwatering if several leaves are spotty. Let it dry completely before watering.

If it came with the spots and damage it could honestly just be mechanical. The plant shops aren’t always the nicest to plant babies. Lack of humidity can cause some leaf brown spots too. It’s a pretty full plant so you could consider clipping off some of the worst damages but I usually just leave them be. I would repot if you haven’t since you brought it home, the nursery soil isn’t ideal. Make sure he has good drainage and you look up how wet these guys like their “feet” IE when to water (don’t follow the planta schedule, I just use it as a reminder to check my soil).
