Hello lovelies,

Curious about how to promote new growth with my Chinese Money Plant. It’s for a long time “trunk” and while it does have some new growth, it’s slowed. I bought the plant from someone on marketplace.

How do I propagate it?

I haven’t done this myself with this specific plant, but you could try chopping the stem and propping it to grow new roots.

Another thing I haven’t done: using keiki paste on the stem (where leaves used to be) to stimulate new growth.

I’m guessing it got a long neck because it needs more light.

My guess was the same, it had the long neck when I got it but would love to prompt new growth. Thanks for the ideas!

I followed a guide that said to cut one of the “pups” that would be found growing next to the mother stalk - I don’t see any on yours though.
