I just recently got a satin pathos from a online store and it is declining, it came with new leafs but they are dying off and the leafs are curling up. I need help!!
I reached out to the company but haven’t gotten an answer in over a week so I’d like to try to save this

Definitely needs some water 🥰 see if that perks it up by tomorrow!

It may have suffered cold damage while being shipped. So that large clear upside down glass was for watering it? It may have overwatered it and rotted the roots off, making it now thirsty because it doesn’t have roots to absorb it. Or it may have gotten too dry and lost roots that way. These guys do like to dry out in between watering. There are probably successful self watering setups, but it would take specific tweaking to do that with this plant.

Also it’s called satin pothos but it’s not a pothos. It’s scindapsus. So care is slightly different and it’s more temperamental.

I would not recommend self watering devices on a plant so little. You can easily overwater. Just wait until it’s dry and water. PlantyAnn’s method above to check for dry soil can be used.

Also, plants shipped can go through stress and take time to recover. Repotting can add additional stress.

Mine did the same thing after I repotted it. I’m thinking it’s mostly a stress response.
