I have one as well and he’s soooo crusty and curled in on himself! 😭 idk what I’m doing wrong.

Despite having the name pine, these are tropical plants, so they love light and high humidity!

I was reading that! So he’s under a grow light right next to a humidifier. I can’t tell if it’s making a difference yet…we shall see!

When you water give him a gentle shower and water deep (let it start pouring out the drainage hole) let it sit in the sink or on a drying rack til it's settled then put him back. This has worked awesome for my tropicals during dry New England winter. Best of luck!
