My fiddle leaf figs top few leaves (all fairly new) have just wept and became extremely soft and tender. There is also new brown spotting- I’ve never had this happen before. Any ideas? Hoping I can get her healthy again 🥲🥲

“Weeping” or “sweating” is your plants way of getting rid of excess water (science word = transpiration). Softness and mushiness is a sign of overwatering (plant cells become extremely turgid and burst). All that to say I’d ease up on watering especially since it’s winter (in the northern hemisphere)
