# Does anyone else do this with their Zwartkop Black Rose, dead head it…

Does anyone else do this with their Zwartkop Black Rose, dead head it to get more rosettes and keep it small?

Because I live in Minnesota, I can't keep it outside all year so it's a house plant.

I only have East- and West-facing windows. The West windows don't get a lot of light and the East windows only get morning sun which means, even if I wanted it to get big, it wouldn't have enough light. I keep it on my plant stand where it can't get very big and it's under grow lights.

I have also tagged my plant so you can see pictures since I've had it. You can tell when I learned about cutting it to get more rosettes and "dead head" it each fall.
