Any idea what would be causing this mark on the orchid? The flowers are starting to die off which I expect is normal.

Is it new or was that always there? Have you noticed new marks appearing?

I have a few similar looking spots on my orchids, but those are just physical damage to the leaves that have been there since I got them. It /could/ be pest related, but to me it looks more like accidental damage. Maybe it got poked by something? A curious pet or child maybe? I’d definitely keep an eye out for similar marks though.

The blooms dying off is almost certainly unrelated though, they only last for so long at a time.

It was a slight mark when I received this, but it has gotten worse. I don’t see any signs of pests and don’t see any pests around any of my other plants either. Thank you for your help
