# Hi guys and hope you had a happy holidays! I got some new grow lights…

Hi guys and hope you had a happy holidays! I got some new grow lights for Christmas and was wondering if anyone had any tips for how to use them and what different settings are best. Also knowing how to manage them with plants that have different lighting needs would be helpful too! thanks!

I also got grow lights for Christmas! I have mine dimmed slightly on white light. I set a timer at 12pm and they stay on for 9 hours and automatically turn off at 9pm. I am trying that for now to see how my plants respond to it.

Ive used grow lights for a year or two now, my plants love not the brightest setting, but one below it (it scorched their leaves) and having it on the 8hr timer, mines set up so the plants that need less light are farther away from the grow light than the plants that require more. This is a bad photo of my setup but i dont take photos of it very often lol, i have my spider plant directly under the grow light, and my more shadier plants a couple feet away
