# This red plastic pot got knocked over, so I pulled what I thought…

This red plastic pot got knocked over, so I pulled what I thought were all of the corms out of it, and it sat on a stand in a corner for two months before I put Christmas cactus cuttings in it. Then about a week ago I noticed something sticking up out of the soil and figured it might be a long-forgotten corm. Well, I just got back to check on the greenhouse stuff yesterday and found that I had a whole, tiny leaf, AND one of the other corms finally sprouted and should be putting out a new leaf soon!

That’s impressive! I would have thought the watering cycle for the Christmas cactus would have been too long for a corm to tolerate. Cool!
