hi there, i know everyone here is likely more interested in their jungle at home than the forests of the world, but our planet is dying and i keep seeing people recommend buying distilled water for houseplants. distilling water is a labor-intensive practice and produces so much waste, especially in the form of plastic jugs. if you have chlorine- or mineral-sensitive plants i’d highly recommend switching to collecting rain water (which has lots of other benefits besides being mostly pure, like its’ slight acidity and trace amounts of organic matter) or filtering and treating your tap water.

You could also buy a water distiller and save on the purchased bottles. I saw one on Amazon that makes quite a bit of distilled water in one day.
