# Need advice. My beautiful money tree has been with me since…

Need advice. My beautiful money tree has been with me since mid-summer. It thrived in the same spot since I brought it home. About 3 weeks ago it started dropping leaves. This is about 3 -4 days worth of slow dying.

I have gone from AC to Heat in the past month in my home, but that’s the only change. I’m following the water schedule from this app which is about every 14 days and liquid fertilizer every other time. Should I give it more water than recommended?

Have you checked its roots?  
Mine started declining after a few weeks \& when I’d checked the roots it had electrical tape wrapped around its root it’s at the base essentially strangling it..

I keep mine in one spot near the window \& don’t have it near heat ect.

I see improvements (new growth \& color looks good now)

Why is this done? For stability/aesthetics as it grows?

If your heater is running more frequently, the air may be getting too dry for your plant. Maybe add misting to its care or investing in a small humidifier.
