# Half my peace lily is happy and the other half is sad idk what to do.…

Half my peace lily is happy and the other half is sad idk what to do. She’s been like this for weeks and I actually rotated the sad side away from the sun thinking that was the issue but still doesn’t seem to perk up

Maybe repot it into a smaller pot… my mom had one that was in too big of a pot and so it was keeping to much water in the soil… idk if that wud help🤷🏾‍♀️ it was just the first thing that came to my mind since that looks like the way my moms did…  
I hope it perks up 🤞🏾

Maybe but she’s been happily perked up in there for almost a year even had flowers at some point

Yes it has drain holes with a plate under to drain into so I can empty it in case

Oh weird. There might be something going on with the root system

If I check the roots what exactly am I looking for, if half of it is happy?

Mine has been suddenly giving me issues too. My leaves have been turning black and falling off. I just replanted it and the soil was wet. I have been told they like drier soil. I cut off about 75% of the plant. Keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck with yours!!

Mine love being showered with water but then they want to dry out almost completely before being put in the shower to be soaked again. But I have mine in my sunroom so it has lots of indirect sunlight. I’m sure there are so many factors that come into play too.
