# I just got this peperomia in October and was really excited to see…

I just got this peperomia in October and was really excited to see all these new areas of growth. However, they don’t seem to be unfurling completely and I noticed this morning one of the new leaves dropped off. Is there something I should be changing in its care or am I just being an impatient new plant mom? 🪴✨

Mine does this sometimes, although I don’t think they leaves have just fallen off. Peperomia will blast their leaves due to over- or underwatering. If there are no pests, then that would be my guess

Yes! I am noticing if I don’t water mine on the day is says in the app it will drop a leaf or two. 😞  
But that plant looks good.  
Is it by a vent for heat or air? I had to move mine from the vent.

Yea curled and/or soft leaves on a pep means it’s not getting enough water
