Dieffenbachia sap is toxic. Be mindful when cutting or removing leaves to wear gloves that it can not get through to your skin. Also the do not like direct light. Partial light.

As long as it is not on a high setting I think it’s okay.

I second the above comments on the dieffenbachia, they don’t like too much water but are pretty tolerant. They also love some humidity so misting a few times per week is great

fiddle leaf figs are moody. keep stability and only water when dry-despite any planta alert you get. good luck!
