I have a croton plant that has cracks like these in a couple of its leaves. They were there since I’ve gotten it. Is there any way for them to heal on the leaves, and do they have a health risk to the plant?

Those cracks look like mechanical damage from rough handling or impact damage (falling, dropped).

I agree, the marks look like that leaf was closed in a door. It won’t heal but as the plant grows, you could remove it. My Croton loves being in the window!
