the two windows i have (north and south) for my plants are constantly blasted by the heat/air vent above them, should I place my humidifier closer to my plants? i don't have many high places and I worry putting the humidifier too far away won't help them. where should i put it?

they sell vent diffusers online that divert the heat up and that would help. they sell them on Amazon.
