# I’m so proud of my pinstripe calathea! He may not look that…

I’m so proud of my pinstripe calathea! He may not look that impressive, but somehow he’s lived through root rot, spider mites, and fungus gnats, all while sitting in soaking wet soil in a pot too large for him. I feel bad that I didn’t notice how bad the soil was earlier… oh well. Hopefully he’ll do much better now! ❤️

They’re so fussy 😭 mine had spider mites and it started dropping leaves. I tried repotting it in leca and it’s on its last leg 😣 poor guy

I have failed twice with this plant both ending in spider mites. Much luck!
