No. What are you using filtered water for?

for my plants, i have two pitcher plants and they are picky about water

Probably best to buy or make distilled water for those guys, unfortunately 😕  
Edit: or rainwater! I forgot for a sec lol

Boiling can kill bacteria but it’s not going to remove minerals.
