Hello plant friends!! I’m new to plants and this will be my first winter. What is everyone’s opinions on fertilizing in the winter. Should it be done or not? Thanks in advance 😊😊

Depends on your climate a little I think, but generally most plants will need an annual rest/fallow season that corresponds to the winter/dry season. I would skip fertilizer between november-the end of February if I were you.

A grow light could be very helpful though..

I have set up grow lights to get through the winter! I definitely got ahead of the game for that.

Okay, yes I am in northern Michigan, so long winters. Thanks for the advice!

I fertilize all year following plantas schedule. I just use a mild fish fertilizer.
