# Hi random question my purple velvet plant looks like it’s growing…

Hi random question my purple velvet plant looks like it’s growing something and I have no idea if it’s a new plant (I haven’t had any new leaves grow since getting it just got bigger) but I’m confused as it looks like tiny mushrooms any ideas?

It’s mushrooms, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Mushrooms!🍄 it’s a okay to keep those mushrooms in your soil, they won’t harm anything ☺️✨

ah, so cute! Little mushrooms! Most are harmless, but if you’re worried you can put some research into it.

Lots of plants have symbiotic relationships with fungi. They provide increased surface area to absorbs nutrients and plants give fungi products made via photosynthesis.
