# Why is it so difficult to identify plant pests! Little white bugs on…

Why is it so difficult to identify plant pests! Little white bugs on my snake plant today:( Did not even get a photo before I started treating with insecticidal soap and peroxide drenching.

I have the heebie jeebies just thinking about them possibly being spider mites.

Anyone have a common issue with snake plants and pests? All of my other trees and plants do fine but my snake plant is constantly giving me unwanted guests…

Surprisingly, my snake plant is my best baby. Crossing my fingers!

Pests can show up pretty much any type of plant 😭 were they little fuzzy looking white bugs? If so, they are probably mealy bugs. We have been dealing with them on our plants too. We use a cotton pad with rubbing alcohol and rub all of the leaves. If there are some that are hard to reach we use q-tips. The rubbing alcohol kills them instantly.
