A D V I C E N E E D E D: Watermelon Peperomia

So I purchased this Watermelon Peperomia sometime in the summer. I misread the price tag, and then misread care instructions.

It has not been repotted since purchase and I do believe it may need to be repotted. Thoughts?

It had been in a back bedroom with windows facing east. As of right now it is currently in my bathroom in a window facing south.

If I repot, what’s the best soil to use for this?

Repot.
All purpose potting mix.

It will love you if you repot and give the roots room to expand and grow 😉

Yeah, I had a feeling that it may be just like tired of growing the tiny little plastic pot that it’s in it was a they were leaf cuttings when I bought it at the store which just a couple of stocks and now it’s just in that I need to grow and I can’t phase so I’llprobably replant today.

i use a chunky soil for my peperomias, 1 part all purpose soil (or peat moss or coco coir, whatever you have), 1 part fir bark chips (“orchid bark”), and 1 part washed perlite. i soak my perlite in water to remove the dust since it can actually impede drainage.

There’s an orchid “soil” mix that has all these additives, I love adding it to any cactus mix to make it more chunky

Thanks for those ideas Plant Father and K.

Normal repot rule? Only 1 inch larger than the current?
