# SPIDER MITES!! How would you go about stopping/preventing spider…

SPIDER MITES!!  
How would you go about stopping/preventing spider mites from coming in through (about 12) closed windows?

I do have a 10lb bag of diatomaceous earth… but also not trying to kill everything outside.  
Appreciate anyone and everyone’s input 🙏

D earth is great but just Castille soap and give it a good wash prob would do it and clean at the same time

I would call a professional if I’m trying to prevent persistent insects from coming into a house. You can treat around the window with off the shelf products. Most are only good until the first rain.

Yea, we have someone who sprays. They came once for this. Just called again, but they’re not super quick.

Have you ever used diatomaceous earth outside? I don’t know the easiest way to spread it.

I’ve only used DE in my swimming pool filter. I’ve never spread it in the yard.
