I bought a bag of vermiculite and I’m not sure what plants I should use it on? I believe for my succulents and cactus cuttings I would want to use perlite?

If I’m not mistaken, vermiculite is a good amendment for tropicals because it hold moisture and nutrients, extending time between watering. Perlite is pretty good for cuttings, in my experience, and definitely a must as a soil amendment for potted succulents
