Does anybody know what type of plant this is I just picked it up from the nursery because I loved how unique it is but now I can’t figure out what it is and how to care for it and also it look like it may be
a little sick or eaten by a bug or something

That’s a Philodendron Squamiferum. It looks like you saved it from bad conditions. It might take some time to recover. I personally don’t have one but hopefully someone will be able to help you know how to take care of it. I agree that it looks like it’s been eaten, or might have some sort of bugs. I would definitely keep it away from your other plants and maybe spray it with a bug spray (I don’t use one But I have some other people use ) or give it a bath.

Thank you so much yes I’ll probably repot it and spray it with my spray and Planta should be able to give me a good enough care guide for now unless someone else comments

Maybe don’t repot it just yet. Cause that might shock it along with being in a new home a new environment. I would spray it and just leave it for a little bit until it can acclimate. And then maybe repot it.
