# I can’t for the life of me get this guy not crispy. 😭 I mist…

I can’t for the life of me get this guy not crispy. 😭 I mist constantly and water on time. It’s my only calathea that I can’t get right haha. I ordered a humidifier this week and we’ll see if that helps and makes a difference. Its not even in direct sunlight or anything. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. 😭😭

Do you use filtered water? They can be sensitive to tap water.

I actually use the water from the dehumidifier we have in the closet as opposed to distilled water! Haha

Don’t feel too frustrated. I have the same problem and I have two humidifiers and a 60% or higher humidity level in my house almost all the time. They still dry up. 🤷‍♀️

The advice I followed from here about calathea….. “embrace the crisp” 😂😂
