# I'm interested in getting a flamingo flower anthurium but not sure if…

I'm interested in getting a flamingo flower anthurium but not sure if I really have the right environment for it. Has anyone gotten away with growing this plant with no added humidity indoors (I don't have a humidifier)? And what type of light are you giving your plant? TIA!

I’ve only had mine for a few weeks, but it’s doing fine with low humidity! I give it bright indirect light

It depends on where you live I guess it’s so humid where I live that I don’t need a humidifier for my plants but to be fair I don’t have that kind of plant

If you have a sunny window in your bathroom, I like to keep mine in the shower so it can get all the humidity it needs! But like mentioned before, they do fine in low humidity :)
