# I’m using Planta but finding the watering schedule off and my plants…

I’m using Planta but finding the watering schedule off and my plants suffering for it. Any suggestions on best (free a bonus!) app for telling me when \& how much to water my plants?

I only started using Planta this spring. I never had a problem with the watering schedules throughout the spring and summer. But now that we have moved into fall, I found that my plants are bone dry, and sometimes saggy, before Planta recommends watering.

I use planta but always check with my meter first.

Figure out where your plants should fall on the meter and keep a list.

Jennifer. Your plant is unique, just like you, I can’t tell you if cookies are going to go to your thighs until I feed you cookies.

Planta gives you the average watering schedule people use, you are able to adjust it. When your plant grows more roots and get closer to being root bound it will need to be watered more and more frequently, so the time will always be changing depending on roots to soil and soil moisture retention. Use the watering schedule as a guide to check your plants, then decide if they need it or not
