Kinda hard to tell what you found.. what is it!?

They are these plastic cup looking things that engulf base of the roots and are annoying to remove!

I did. find fuzzy mould that’s why I repot it but wasn’t expecting to find that

That’s the little pot they use grow “keiki’. Baby orchid. I cut them off as soon as I can repot the plants.
