# Just got two plants in that I ordered from a plant shop on Instagram……

Just got two plants in that I ordered from a plant shop on Instagram… needless to say I’m pretty disappointed :(  
Not sure if it’s the seller or shipper’s fault, but for paying $100+ for two plants, I expected them to be in better condition. They’re an Aglaonema Pictum Tricolor and an Alocasia Zebrina for anyone wondering.  
Any tips (especially for the aglaonema) to help them recover would be much appreciated!🫶🏻

Zebrina. Fingers crossed. It might come back once place in light.  
Tricolor I’m not sure.  
Honestly I’ve never seen plants come back from this.

When I did get my zebrina and repot it. It did lose 2 of its 3 leaves and then started sprouting new about month later.  
It could be in shock or just unhealthy like the person below 👇🏽 said.

I’d be messaging the seller! No way would I be happy about spending that much and getting unhealthy plants. Sorry that happened! What a bummer!

I reached out and they refunded me for the aglaonema!

Not sure about the Zebrina other then it is beautiful but the Ag should bounce back. They are very resilient. I’ve cut mine all the way back and they started new growth from the nuns. Just check for healthy roots. Personally I’d cut off the dying leaves. So the plant can focus of growing new healthy leaves. Leave the healthier leaves alone.

Update: I reached out and they refunded me for the price of the aglaonema ($70)!! They handled it very graciously so I’m happy with how it all turned out😊
