# Any peace lily parents have any advice/insight into why this leaf may…

Any peace lily parents have any advice/insight into why this leaf may be turning brown along the sides? I’m used to seeing some slight brown tips but not usually large portions along the sides. Its only this leaf, and it’s under a bunch of other leaves on the side not facing my window and probably gets the least amount of light, so I think it’s likely just lack of sun potentially? Should I cut her off?

No sign of pests, all the other leaves are looking good and I have some nice healthy blooms. She’s 24 inches tall and I water her approximately every 10 days as she takes a very long time for her soil to start becoming dry and I noticed that when I was watering her every 7 days her soil was still very moist. I have a low humidity environment but she lives in my bathroom next to my shower to try and counteract that

I don’t have any advice other than to maybe move her around a bit to see if things improve. My peace lily is super fussy and it took a lot of time and effort to find a spot and routine she’s happy with. I used to get brown edges when she got too much light but she was super dramatic when there wasn’t enough light either. I’d experiment with light and see if that makes a difference

When mine did that it ended up being root rot but I was able to save her. If nothing else works or if it worsens I would get in there and check the roots.
