Shorten money tree?

My money tree grew longer than I had wanted. Is there anything I can do to cut this down to half its size and hopefully make this bushier? It’s very top-heavy and drops when not tied together. Any tips are very welcome.

My friend chopped hers down.. so it’ll grow back thicker and fuller. I know that’s tough to do though!
