# Hello! Just got this Peperomia and I’m trying to figure out exactly…

Hello! Just got this Peperomia and I’m trying to figure out exactly which variety it is. It’s leaves are not wrinkled but they are purple (darker than in the photo). They are more the consistency of my Peperomia Rosso, but wider. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have a very similar plant, but it’s more of a silver color! Yours looks very similar to the Rosso, and even though the leaves are wider the care would likely be very similar. If you can’t find an exact one then I’d go with that! Hope this was helpful

I went with the Peperomia frost for mine because the leaf shape is similar. Since yours is closer to the shape that mine has you could go with that!

Could be Peperomia Schumi Red/Raspberry Ice/Red Emerald. They are all ripped. Not sure it’s any of these.

Someone else just posted on another post to swipe up on the photo in your camera roll. Then hit the word plant and it will tell you what kind. Pretty cool tip’

Hi there 👋 I know I look to be VERY late to this post, but I thought I’d share what one of my peperomias look like to say I think your peperomia is a very specific cultivar called a Peperomia Caperata Cayenne. There isn’t an exact ID on Planta yet for the cultivar, so I’m currently ID’ing it as a Peperomia Mendoza for the time being, but identifying it as a Peperomia caperata should give you the same care information. Hope this helps.
