Hi! I’ve been looking for really strange and funky plants. Does anyone have any recommendations for plants I should get? I want the weirdest of the weird.

Probably not the weirdest, but I like alocasia flying squid

I’m taking notes because I love the weird ones too!! Fenestraria look like aliens to me. And I’m getting a delivery of a succulent today called alien eggs. Split rock succulents too—they’re so dumb I just had to have one lol.

Euphorbia are easy and cool looking

Not super weird but the zigzag / fishbone cactus is a little funky and easy to care for ☺️
People have also remarked on my tigertooth aloe for it’s strange spiky appearance. Both common but a little quirky!

so many strange orchids, peperomias (check out p. axillaris and ferreyrae), euphorbias, rhipsalis (and pseudorhipsalis), cacti like eve’s needle and stenocereus are funky as well. there’s lots of fun caudex plants too, it depends on your taste

two more fun species— coleus neochilus (common name is mike’s fuzzy wuzzy and it’s such an interesting plant), and sedum mocinianum might fascinate you as well, it’s a spiky/fuzzy succulent
