# A little appreciation post to the community here for helping me save…

_Posted by Miami Plant Girl on 2023-10-05_

A little appreciation post to the community here for helping me save this little plant (calathea orbifolia) . Look at the growth! 2 new little leaves! Please check out the before.
What changed:
Moved back from a window
Watered with distilled water
Let it go longer between waterings

This little guy is extra special to me because my autistic son picked out for me and has been really excited about watching it grow. Had it not been for him, I would have given up on this plant. 🌱♾️
