# Can anyone help me with peace lilies? I just cannot seem to maintain…

Can anyone help me with peace lilies? I just cannot seem to maintain them and I really don’t want to give up.  
Check for water - don’t place in direct sunlight and they just die on me. Would really appreciate any advice.

I’ve got 5 peace lily- all thriving. I water only on Sundays or when they start to droop down and look sad. Also be sure there’s watering holes in the bottom of your pots.

The pots have holes and I don’t jet them sit in water either

Best of luck! I’m sure you’ll figure it out❤️ just gotta see what works best for them.. they can be fragile it seems.

Also- when they get quite large, I’ll take them out and separate them (thin them out) and start new plants. They can get crowded when they start putting out new sprouts.

Pick off any dead leaves also.. they just take from the rest of the plant’s nutrition.

Put them in water instead of soil. Mine is still small but much easier to keep thrivin

I just water when they start to droop, give them only indirect light, and don’t let them get root bound. Mine is thriving doing this :)
