Can anybody tell me what kind of plant this is? I got a cutting from someone and they said it was a monstera.

Ideally I’d love to plant today but I’ve never had one, so also looking for soil + pot size recommendations!!

definitely a monstera deliciosa! Plant it in a small-ish pot for now!

Thank you! I’ve got a few 6” pots here, think that will work? It’s very tall, and one of them lies completely horizontal when I’m not holding it. Do people ever use stakes? I’d hate for it to break off.

that pot size would definitely work! Also for a stick you could get a small moss pole (monsteras love climbing those) or I just use wooden chopsticks for a lot of my smaller plants!
