My spider plant has began to grow flowers - I’ve read this is a good thing but also read it’s not a good thing?

Flowering means new spider babies. It won’t hurt the plant.

Flowers normally means the plant is happy, so it's focusing on producing offspring! As long as everything else looks good with the plant, there's no need to worry!
