# My dad just bought me this plant and I am wondering what it is and…

My dad just bought me this plant and I am wondering what it is and how to help it. On the tag it says it is a Canna. I am probably going to repot it but I don’t know if I have a pot that should fit it.

It’s one of the color variations that a canna lily can come in :) so the card is right, canna lily.

The tag describes landscape and patio garden because you don’t typically see these plants indoors. They like full sunlight and can take wet soil. They can’t take cold. You may have to provide a grow light in winter months. They can go dormant like lily bulbs if they dry out. But, they will revive in spring if planted in warm soil and gets sufficient sunlight.
