# what is this new growth on my white knight? very bottom of the plant,…

what is this new growth on my white knight? very bottom of the plant, an old leaf completely snapped there months ago and it’s just calloused over, until now it’s putting that out. is it a new leaf or stem? the top of the main stem still has growth points of course, coming out of previous leaves so i’m not sure what it’s doing…

Be prepared to “birth” a new leaf every now and again. White knight/pink princess philo’s have a rubbery membrane around the new leaves and sometimes you have to delicately cut the membrane to release the new leaf. 👌
