My Alocasia Zebrina, named Zina, is alive and thriving! I got a new pot she’s chilling in while indoors from this morning’s storm. I bought her before knowing her soil can never dry out! I left town for a funeral and she let me know with dry tips and spots. We are better, now.
Her pot with no drain holes is from Lost in The Forrest online. It’s titled‘Kabasa Pot’ and comes in mint, white, and three sizes

Mine is sooo droopy!!! Do you think I’m maybe not watering enough?? I am so hesitant to water and barely do.. this might be my issue lol

Water before it dries out. Mine arrived looking like a curly fry. It unfurled after a few days. It was dehydrated. See pic.

Mine is in coconut coir and stays lightly damp for about 5 days after I water it. It’s under a covered patio. I water when the top ‘soil’ looks and feels dry. I’m surprised it can stay damp that long in this record heatwave. I watered the other plants twice a day this summer. I throughly water all my plants heavily until water freely flows out. I use Osmocote fertilizer balls in it.
