So I have a marble queen philodendron cutting that I got and placed in water. It hasn’t grown any roots but it has a new leaf. I’m so confused

Be patient. I did the same with my bamboo cutting, gave me two new leaves before roots started growing (about 1 month).

Probably meant Marble Queen Pothos?

Marble queen philodendron is not a thing look it up a line and you will only find marble queen Pothos
