The person at the plant store told me that this plant was “high light”. I have it placed in a bathroom which has skylights and gets very bright during the day particularly in the middle of the day.

Planta is telling me it’s too much light for this plant.

It’s been in there for about 5 days and seems to be doing ok.

Who do I believe??

I think that’s fine honestly unless the sun happens to hit it super strong at some point.

No such thing as too much indirect light. So level of brightness is irrelevant unless its not enough when it comes to indirect.
Direct light is the issue here. If the skylight lets direct beams hit the leaves it could scorch it. So just pay attention and move it out of direct beams if it starts to show signs.
