So I just bought two new pothos (2 for $15 woohoo), and they’re hanging pathos but don’t have a draining tray and I want to keep them in my living room. Those who have hanging pothos, HOW do you keep them? Do you buy specific pots that can be hung and keep water in? Do you keep something under the plants to catch the water and not land on the floor?

i have a large metal mug that fits perfectly underneath most of my hanging plants, i water slowly from the top and keep the mug and a towel (to catch splatter) underneath. i’ve also seen people use those aluminum baking trays as drip trays

Oooo this is such a clever idea!!! Maybe you could just get a large shallow container, that you can maybe store under a table then just pull it out when you’re watering!

I usually take them to the sink when I water them and then put them back after a while

I water this one about once a week and since I don’t want to use a catch tray (it’s decor on my coffee table) I just move it back and forth

I generally unhook them and take them to my sink! Some of my hanging ones don't have drainage holes (ik its bad) but i make sure not to overwater!

Nursery pots inside of decorative pots is key! Super easy to take them out and water them and put them all back in. I don’t recommend having no drainage on any plant.. it always will be so much healthier with drainage
