# I am new to indoor plants, so far my money tree has been growing…

I am new to indoor plants, so far my money tree has been growing fairly well.. I am so torn if I should trim the big leaves back (top, left, right and front in pic) due to the amount of new growth underneath. What do you think? 🥲

I haven’t trimmed any of mine because I love how luscious it is. Besides promoting new growth, it’s also preference on how you want it to look. I don’t want the bonsai look.

Thanks! I feel the same way. It made me sad to think about trimming it, the leaves look so healthy 😅

The only time I’ve ever trimmed my money tree was because I wanted to propagate it 😂. So you could always do that but you really don’t have to trim it if you don’t want to.

Don’t trim! Those leaves will turn yellow when they’re old and ready to fall off on their own
