# Dinner for the deer! I was moving around pots and left 3 of these…

Dinner for the deer! I was moving around pots and left 3 of these hosta too long where the deer could feed. Anything I can do to save these? Should I just cut them down? They are out of feeding zone now. Sigh.

Aw sad! That has happened to my parents. Their hostas are planted in the ground so it’s kind of a cycle of them growing back and the deer eating them again. Yours should grow new leaves but it might not be until next season depending on your growing zone. My parents are in zone 4/5 I believe
