# My bamboo won’t grow anymore. My cat ate the leafs months ago and…

My bamboo won’t grow anymore. My cat ate the leafs months ago and ever since it wont grow back it’s leaf’s. Anyone know the exact type of bamboo this is and how to get it growing again? I also cleaned the rocks maybe if ruined the roots.

i have one of these. they’re slow growers, so i’d give it a bit longer. this is called lucky bamboo, which isn’t actually bamboo haha, it’s scientific name is dracaena sanderiana. maybe you could try different propagation techniques to get the leaves growing again but i’m not sure. how are the roots looking?

if all else fails you could try switching substrates.
