How is the care for this beauty?Always wanted to get one.

Do they cause a lot of fungus gnats as well with that consistency of watering. I’ve been dealing with gnats a lot lately and got a Venus fly trap to try and help but I saw this beauty and thought about picking one up to help with the issue but also don’t want more to come.

No, the gnats I had in the general area of mine are gone!

My Drosera swept up my gnats so well! It’s another great easy carnivore for ya!

Amazingly not. I’m not sure if it has to do with the substrate they’re in. Mine are in just long fiber sphagnum moss, although ideally they would have a little perlite mixed in.

What HAS caused fungus gnats in the past are my pinguiculas, because they are always sitting in a tray of water and the substrate has more peat. I filled up the trays like two inches one time when I went on vacation, and when I got back there were tons of gnats stuck to the pings’ leaves 😂

The gnat problem probably lasted one week tops because the pings ended up trapping and eating them all.
