Well, this guy is just growing like crazy. He really shot up when I put him in the canopy of the monstera. Anyway, I’m thinking he needs a bigger pot. He’s currently sporting a 6” plastic nursery pot. What’s the best new home for him?

Go for a pot 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball(or the original pot) whenever you repot! Some plants like to be snug, so make sure you check the plants personal preference. The main way to tell if it needs a report is to look at the bottom of the nursery pot! If roots are coming out, it’s time, and if you mainly see soil then you can wait a little longer.

Thanks! His roots were popping out and he just looked like it was time. Went from 6” to 8” nursery pot. I love them a little more each day lol

Question.. if I potted him up but kept the old soil in the rootball, and it’s moist.. do I skip watering in?

And I know you didn’t ask but— I would maybe move those guys out of the direct sunlight or they will get little brown burn holes in the leaves 🫥
